OBB et Siemens ont dévoilé l’extérieur des nouveaux trains de nuit Nightjet

OBB et Siemens viennent de présenter le premier nouveau train de nuit paint aux couleurs d’OBB. Il entrera en service en 2022 sur le réseau Nightjet. Ce train est le premier d’un contrat de 13 trains avec une option pour jusqu’à 20 trains supplémentaires.
Depuis la reprise des trains de nuit allemands par les chemins de fer autrichiens en 2016, OBB a réussi à revitaliser l’offre et opère maintenant le plus grand réseau européen de trains de nuit.
La prochaine étape de l’expansion du réseau Nightjet intervient avec la livraison du nouveau matériel roulant ultra moderne de Siemens. En effet, les nouveaux trains, composé deux wagons-lits, trois wagons à couchette et deux wagons standard offrirons un embarquement de pleins pieds pour les voyageurs à mobilité réduite, ainsi le wifi gratuit via OBB Railnet. OBB offrira aussi un accès gratuit a des magazines et journaux digitaux pour s’occuper pendant le voyage.
Enfin, chaque compartiment standard et delux offrira une douche et toilette privative, que qui n’est pas offert aujourd’hui !
